Come along to our photo sessions to dust off your camera and get snap-happy with a professional photography instructor.

Brush up on your camera skills and learn new photography techniques whilst on a photo walk class with other local keen photographers!

We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations in Bath .

  • New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month. And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next on is!

  • Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

  • What to bring? We recommend bringing a camera that has full manual mode or semi-manual modes (Aperture or Shutter Priority). Compact cameras and smartphones also welcome!

    The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

    f/10 1/250sec ISO 100 on a Sony A74 with 24mm lens.Even when I am feeling uninspired, there is always something that catches my eye on the Avon in Bath. This shot is the new footbridge connecting the city to the new office development on the south of the river. On a still day the reflections are always a feature and it was just a case of composing the shot and then waiting for people. I always try to involve a human element in my photos. The cyclist was an unexpected bonus.

    Came in to Bath to take some street photos, and to take a photo of a steam train due to visit Bath Spa Station that day. Unfortunately the train visit got cancelled but I was very pleased with the street photos I took, even though the weather was overcast.I am always looking for the unusual and while walking up Manvers Street noticed this walkway.

    After a long day at work I went for a stress relieving walk along the roundly with my camera. Suddenly the light changed and the wind picked up. This was a turn in the conditions that just worked in my favour. I recently had purchased a new Samyang 18mm lens and this was my first shot with it. In post editing I made the clouds slightly softer and sunset slightly more vibrant, other that that I have not edited it much.

    This shot was so fun to capture. The model, Dakota, wanted some epic shots for her senior session. Equipment: Canon R5 on a tripod, Canon rf 28-70, Flashpoint ad200 in a 42" MagMod pro octa. How I got the shot: The camera was on a tripod and set to a 2.5 second exposure, f/10, iso 50. The flash was camera left at about 6' high, It was set to 1/16 power.
